First Minister's daily briefing

This could be improved.
The UK daily briefing has two distinct advantages over that given by the First Minister.
Graphs.
Rather than the "machine gunning" of information we receive this should be augmented by some limited graphical representation of the data such that we can see the trends clearly.
Signing.
What is the point of placing the Signer at the rear of the stage in the shadows? It must be generally impossible to lip read. The UK presentation does this so much better with the Signer in a fixed position in the foreground.
If they can do it why can't we.

Why the contribution is important

Important because the population at large who watch these broadcasts need clear and succinct visual information to support the spoken figures.

I stopped watching these press conferences as there were so many mixed messages, it was very confusing.

If we have to have these press conferences, can we please see some daily questions from the public answered by the Scottish Govt, as the UK government does.
Would also be good to see a range of Scottish Govt spokespersons sharing the same message, too many have gone off on a tangent (Angus MacNeil for eg with his islands "3rd world NHS facilities". Beginning to forget what our elected representatives look like and worried they are losing touch with the public.

I don’t even know when or where it is televised. Very poorly publicised. Could BBC News app be giving us this info?

I want one set of information for the UK. This is not the time for us to be separating ourselves. UK Gov is making payments to support workers. We need to align to them. Is SG going to pay furloughed payments if we decide we cannot come out of lockdown alongside rest of UK?
One press conference, one message, United front.

It's on at 12.30pm on BBC Scotland Monday to Friday, weekends can be a bit hit and miss. You can get it on iPlayer but unlike the Westminster broadcast, the BBC don't put it on until the following day.

I enjoy the daily briefings. I think the bbc need to continue the broadcast of them at weekends or advertise on the bbc Scotland channel what time they are showing it.

I think it would be good to hear more from
John Swinney regarding what is happening with education. I appreciate seeing Gregor and jason but perhaps we could head a bit more about what they now know about the virus and what affects it is havinf on people’s health and any long term affects they think it may cause.

First Minister's daily briefings are very accurate, informative, honest and sincere. They're related to Scotland and it's only right that First Minister presents these briefings for Scotland and that people follow her advice. She is putting people's safety first to save lives and reduce spread of the virus.

Communicate in advance the time of the daily briefings. I’m sure I’m not the only but I’m having difficulty in finding the channel and time of the Saturday and Sunday briefings. I’m sure they briefings are no less important
