follow all WHO guidance on outbreak management

Follow all WHO guidance on COVID-19 outbreak management and control, including period required for self isolation of suspected cases, quarantine restrictions, management of imported infections and PPE.
Protect all in health and social care with pathogen appropriate PPE.
Test, notify swiftly, contain, suppress following the proven containment measures of New Zealand, Singapore , South Korea.

Why the contribution is important

There is growing public mistrust of national messages on the outbreak and the reiteration of ' Guided by the science' . This is a Public Health emergency .The media provides comparisons of international success and failed responses. People in Scotland can now compare our national response with New Zealand, Ireland, Germany or Singapore. (there would have been 30 deaths extrapolating the NZ population mortality difference with Scotland, or around 300 in UK ).

It is time for the Scottish Government to take ownership of the national predicament from following the interests of PHE and (UK) SAGE, and look to public health experts who are gaining media attention and credibility.

The WHO can hardly be trusted after covering up for China

Totally agree - at present the Scots Govt are not following WHO guidelines, in particular those aged 60 plus are at High Risk. - Often they are Pensionless 1950's Women forced to continue to work in front line of virus eg nurses/shopworkers - The continous failure of Scots Govt has been in following PHE guidelines which has resulted in numerous un-necessary deaths in eg care homes and put all health care workers at risk eg lack of PPE/Testing etc. Lacklustre action/non action from Scot Govt with regard to health issues eg no word of any sanitation measures on buses / trains. - 8k Inbound passengers per week arriving into Scotland and not checked at point of entry is appalling.

Sorry, but I do not trust WHO on this, they covered/hid what was happening in China, they ought to be ashamed of themselves!
