    The virus Infection and death rates are not the same so why should what we do be driven by London’s needs rather than our own.

    The whole point of devolving powers is to allow each nation to make the best decisions for its specific situation. In the US, the governor of the state of New York (thankfully) made different decisions to the federal government and so saved lives in his state. Similarly, Scotland has some leeway to customise its own decisions to best suit its people and geography, so why shouldn't it attempt to do the best for its own situation?

    If there was a 'same as UK' approach to everything, there would not be this forum and opportunity to engage, and complain that there ought to be a UK approach!
