Full lockdown till we eradicate to double fiqures then contact and trace

Why the contribution is important

We need a return of some form of normality currently we are dragging this out we need to starve this disease and live again

I agree it's never going to be over if we don't do full lockdown as too many flouting the lockdown.

We have suffered enough. What evidence do you have that a full lockdown would work?

Our hospitals are empty as it is

Sorry to bring the negativity to a valid point but you starve the virus but once it starved everything goes back then we start all over again because the only way through this is to allow a virus to take its natural path a population build a immune system by nature of disease all you to to starve it is just prolong the start again we build antibodies by contact we can’t live in bubbles for rest of lives

Herd immunity is the best approach for this, full lockdown just means that there will be flare ups over and over again.

Sorry, but this is a supremely bad idea - not least because unless the world eradicates it, then it's an utterly pointless exercise. We need to continue to protect the most vulnerable by shielding them and let the rest of the low risk population go back to normal.

Very bad idea. The number of deaths from cancer, homicide, mental ill health, road traffic accidents, stroke, heart attack will increase the longer this goes on.
