Golf courses MUST be opened VERY SOON
With proper management golf can be played VERY SAFELY indeed
There would be absolutely no danger of spreading the virus
Social distancing is vital and can easily be adhered to
I don’t think that golfers should be allowed to drive really long distances to their golf course
But short (10 / 15 /20 miles) distances are very acceptable
If there’s no releasing of the lockdown then there will be civil disobedience I fear
Our NHS is coping very well with the crisis

Why the contribution is important

To allow proper exercise
To allow folk to have some "fun" in a very sad time
To help start the economy moving again

    I agree with the comments on this idea.. As long as well managed social distancing rules are enforced, golf is one of the most obvious outdoor pursuits that could be restarted. as well as being stress relieving which would be a godsend at the current time, it is also great exercise as depending on whether 9 holes or 18 holes a round can easily cover 1 to 5 miles.
