Golf access

I ask that golf courses should be open for play forthwith.Golfers in the main are responsible people and would respect all measures to safeguard the safety of all other golfers. There is no need for players to break the 2 m distancing rule. By opening courses the well-being of at least a number of citizens would be enhanced

Why the contribution is important

To enhance the well-being of a fair number of citizens.

This request makes perfect sense, provided the restrictions suggested by the PGA are applied.i.e. Not touching flags, bunker rakes and ball retrievers from water hazards

I also think golf courses should be open but with restrictions like no clubhouse open, maybe except for toilets, the majority of golfers would be responsible in carrying out and observing the 2 metre rule and any further 'local' restrictions imposed by the club committee. I myself live in a remote island community and it seems strange I can walk on beaches, machair land and roads to exercise but not on the golf course.

Keep the courses closed as more use to walkers than golfers. Fitness for the many not the few.
