Golf Reopening

Prior to lockdown we were following guidelines and practicing social distancing. Can see no practical reason not to re open golf courses for play albeit that clubhouses may have to remain closed to protect staff. The pro shop should be able to re open too as we already have protocols in place to go shopping. By all means limit the distance people are allowed to travel or make it members only. Since lockdown the roads are awash with cyclists and runners so what's the difference?

Why the contribution is important

Mental well being and making sure our golf clubs survive.

Totally agree. Social Distancing no worse than a B&Q queue.! A healthy outdoors pursuit. This should be allowed with restrictions on clubhouse facilities.

People are using our golf courses to run/walk around, surely golfers should therefore be able to use there own golf courses with social distancing in place as per the restriction prior to just before lockdown.
