Grandparents

I think grandparents who are fit and healthy should be allowed to see their grand children and adult sons and daughters. I live alone after losing my husband in 2018. I have one son and one granddaughter who is 20 months old. Prior to lockdown I looked after my granddaughter 2-3 days a week and not being able to see her is breaking my heart.

As businesses reopen and people return to work, families with children will need childcare and this is very often carried out by grandparents.

This idea is important to reunite families (albeit in a safe and sensible way). It will alleviate loneliness for grandparents who live alone, especially those who are grieving for the loss of their spouse.
