  The average household is approx 4 so to allow family to meet the number for a family group should be at least 7 at a time. That would let grandparents visit. Staying outside and two metres apart and wearing face coverings

  I think the group size is dependent on where they met. Externally the virus is not easily spread but internally there are more problems so group size should not be stated unless the location can be taken into account

  Group sizes should allow for the household of one family to be able to at least meet with both grandparents at the same time, for a household with 5 and two grandparents that would be a meeting of 7, but only two households at a time, other wise children will have to be excluded .

  Initially a ‘bubble’ should only allow a combined number of 4 people. Eight is too large to ensure that none of them are socialising in other bubbles as well.

  @Icraik - "group sizes should be 8, and the maximum to meet should be 4"??? 4?? or 8?? Either, especially in an outdoor environment, should be allowed.

  agree strongly most families have 4 in household so 4 is no use 8 is more reasonable that is merely 2 households.
