Hefty Fines for restriction breakers, cash goes to NHS.

Fine restriction breakers heavily to act as a greater deterrent and use all money gained to help in the NHS fight against Covid 19 to ensure public support.

Why the contribution is important

Having hefty fines for the selfish idiots who ignore the restrictions would keep us all safer and the money gained going to the NHS fight against Covid 19 would win the support of the general public.
If this is not done then this selfish lot will only get worse and more numerous as time passes.

The restrictions have not been debated. The restrictions are inhuman. You can social distance in the great outdoors much better than in a shop. Off licences are not safe spaces. The mountains of Scotland are a lot safer and as long as you do not interact with anyone local or use local facilities you will do no harm and not spread the virus. The outdoors and exercise is positive for mental health and wellbeing for some of us. Alcohol and takeaways are not great for most of us.

I have no objections to people travelling in their own cars to go for a walk in the hills, etc, they can’t infect anyone no matter how far they drive.
What is really important is the 2 metre rule and face masks in public, if everyone was to obey these two rules plus the hand washing, etc, then the infection rate would be almost zero.
No one, especially the elderly, will ever be safe from this unless everyone follows these rules or until a vaccine is found.
