Highway Code for Pedestrians

Take a leaf from what I recall as the Highway Code’s advice for pedestrians walking on non pavemented roads and advise that pedestrians and joggers, should, where there are pavements on both sides of a road, walk on the pavement which is on the side of oncoming traffic so that on that pavement all pedestrians and joggers are going in the same direction thereby reducing the number of times they have to take avoiding action to maintain the 2 metre distancing rule.

Why the contribution is important

Makes compliance with the social distancing rule that much easier.
