Cruise firms are suffering financial hardship. If a boat were procured and decked out with the residual hospital fittings from the NHS Louisa Jordan, that ship could be docked to service remote communities after the crisis.

As our local health care demands relent, that same boat could serve humanitarian efforts much further afield.

There will be a generation that follows this pandemic that will wish to honour those we have lost, and recognise the excellent healthcare we provide

We should lift our eyes from our current woes, to consider what we wish to salvage from this experience.

What better legacy and memorial than bringing life to those in grave circumstances?
