Home insulation during lockdown

Insulating homes is one of the best environmental benefits... With people stuck at home, many unable to work, the government could provide insulating material free and instructional information for people to complete insulating their homes whilst they have time during lockdown. Everyone's a winner.

Why the contribution is important

It is a way to keep people productive whilst stuck at home, for the general benefit of society and the environment

Government currently paying the wages of an extra 7 million people. The economy is collapsing. Where do you suggest the money comes from to pay for this? Nice idea, but not feasible

This is where UBI comes into its own. Sources of funding include Scottish Consols, perhaps issued by a Scottish Investment Bank, these bonds have interest to be paid, but any capital repayment is up to the lender, as they are like a war bond, and essentially neverending.
