Hospital appointments

Why can’t the newly built Louisa Jordan hospital be used for routine clinic appointments that have been put on hold for months. Especially patients that have been referred by their GP to see heart and cancer specialists. My gp made a referral to cardiology for me in January as I had chest pains and racing heart rate. Been given statins since then but really need an ECG. Feels like I’m waiting on a full blown heart attack at any minute and the stress from waiting is only adding to the problem. Who knows how long I will have to wait to see someone now, hopefully before a heart attack

Why the contribution is important

If people don’t get seen quickly then what other damage is being done while they wait. Do I have to have a heart attack to see a cardiologist? Don’t believe that every cardiologist and oncologist are working on the covid wards. Open the Louisa Jordan hospital for consultations for all the clinic appointments while it is infection free with staff and patients using the appropriate PPE

Important to maintain people trusting the services provided. Right advice to people moderate exercise get yourself fit again. But more likely to say facilitate at regular hospital. The LJ wont be kitted out for that specialist monitoring you need good luck and take care

Why not put all the Corvid Patients in the Louisa Jordan and leave other hospitals for their currently neglected purposes. The NHS will never catch up with all the other people who have been completely abandoned by government policy.

The Louisa Jordan isn't kitted out for investigations, but use it for solely covid patients just as it was set up to do and allow normal hospitals to resume investigations and services as usual
