House viewing

Allow two people at one time(from the same family) to view a house by appointment. That way people like me who have their house for sale can move forward. I may miss out on the house I'm buying due to this.

Why the contribution is important

It would relieve stress from both buyers and sellers plus help the housing market.

I think it’s added stress already in one of the most stressful times in someone’s life
I also believe that renting potential could be added to this private property, you would do most of the transactions over the telephone and social distancing could still be adhered to
Social housing rentals need to put in place in too
The bidding on line would carry on as normal and viewing the property allocated to the tenant could once again stick to social distancing
Removals if doing it yourself would be ok it’s the removal done by a firm and more than one person would be a sticking point
However I do agree with the comments so far

I would agree with the above and request that house viewings are allowed to open up following social distancing rules. Potential buyers could view houses in pairs wearing face mask and gloves. They could be asked not to touch any doors or surfaces and the viewings could be done by the existing householder or estate agent following social distancing rules. Families where there is a garden could be outside during the visit.

House sales could also be added to with virtual visual tours.

Yes, 100% agree. Please allow viewings to resume they could do so with social distancing in place. I have my flat on the market and now I have to conclude on my new property meaning I have to now pay for 2 houses which I can't afford.
