Hygiene Education Packs

Hygiene education packs must be created for all workplaces and schools. Consisting of the correct science but simplistic terms for clear understanding. Hygiene is imperative but easily overlooked in many industries or demographics such as children.

Schools must have allotted class time to engage with hygiene practices. Workplaces should have a hygiene rep in each team to ensure all measures are consistent. Posters simply do not work as people get caught up in the fast pace work life.

Strict hygiene must be built into a habitual routine to relieve anxieties and fear. Education packs and systematic approaches in all workplaces must be made mandatory.

Why the contribution is important

Hygiene is key to keeping the virus at bay. It’s inevitable it will still be out there post lockdown. Learning to manage hygiene is a simple but effective measure.

Being a key worker I an witnessing basic hygiene being missed, not deliberate but possibly due to lack of real knowledge, resources and accountability.

    Children will always forget hygiene practices we already teach hygiene in schools it’s down to the person and whether the parents enforce at home

    completely agree there has to be a systematic approach and obligation to do this both within schools and workplaces. Having it as policy would help ensure this

    Waste of money No amount of information packs will help, like no one knows already lol information on hygiene is already being promoted Everywhere we go!

    Here we go again with the word mandatory,! treat people with some common sense and trust them to do the right thing at the right time or educate them in person at the time if you see something you think is wrong

    Trust people more!

    I think hygiene information packs are a necessity . Hand washing has almost been forgotten about as far as media outlets are concerned and as I understand it it’s one of the most important things we can do to stop the spread of the virus.

    Information packs and hygiene guidance are both great initiatives. However as well as how to use the information and why it is necessary I would suggest that the practical application of the information would help to enforce and embed the importance of hygiene at school and at home. This could be done perhaps by the pupils and students actually cleaning their workspace prior to and after their lessons and lectures.

    Look at example of children arriving in school in China: handwashing, change of mask, disinfecting shoes...
