If we are following the science, where is the science?

Lockdown was something that more or less everyone agreed was required in order to buy time to think and plan. However, that was 2 months ago - where is the thinking and planning - we can't stay at home forever so what is the risk based approach to get life going again?

I want to see an approach based on analysed risk from experts in the field. If the attached article is correct, then you are extremely unlikely to catch COVID-19 while socially distancing outside. If this is correct then release business and leisure activities that comply with this.

Give everyone the challenge to do whatever business and leisure pursuits meet these guidelines. Most shops could offer click and collect safely with outdoor pickups, outdoor construction should be OK, outdoor leisure pursuits should be OK

If U10's and U20's are unlikely to spread the infection, then give them more freedoms

If there is a 'formula' of building air change / occupancy / exposure time, give businesses this guideline and they can design their workplace with some common science based guidelines

Use science to determine the lowest risk activities and then build as much economic and social activity as possible around these.

Also, use science to determine which currently permissible activities are dangerous - should buses be allowed? Should trains be allowed, should the underground be allowed? It seems that these are hazardous activities which should be modified or eliminated for now?

What are we doing to analyse the models being used by other countries eg Sweden? What are we doing to understand the apparent lack of cases in some 3rd world countries

WHERE ARE THE ANALYSIS AND SCIENCE BASED STRATEGIES?

Why the contribution is important

We need to use scientific knowledge and analysis of available data to build a risk based strategy to address COVID 19.
Lockdown was necessary but it will not solve anything - we need develop risk based strategies to release low risk activities and then build as much economic activity as possible around these
