    Someone has been reading too much gutter-press. "Close the border" lol. -_-; Do you *really* think that there's any large scale movement of people happening right now? On an island nation??? Think these things through before you embarrass yourself.

    It might be rather more effective to apply *proper* quarantine to every legitimate arrival at an external border, especially airports. Not the current too-little-too-late UK government fudge. Look at New Zealand for good practice.

    As to the border with England, no-one should be making long distance travel except those with a legitimate need. That's surely already well-understood and observed by all (except perhaps by the occasional southern multimillionaire Tory with a Highland estate).
