Include cardiovascular disease and diabetes in the extremely high risk group

Before relaxing the lockdown measures, the criteria for shielding must be amended to include people with cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Also, anyone who lives with a vulnerable person should not be required to return to work as it is virtually impossible to properly socially distance within the same household.
Why the contribution is important
The highest risk factors for severe disease and death are heart disease and diabetes yet the government has not included these conditions in the list for shielding. If the shielding criteria is not changed then people with these conditions will be required to return to work and could lose their lives in the process.
