Initiative Random Testing
Test a representative sample of Scottish citizens to determine a baseline infection / antibody rate for the general population. Current practice of releasing the number of new cases of testing done only on individuals showing symptoms is an incomplete data set.
Why the contribution is important
The actual risk of COVID is not clear unless we understand the underlying infection rate. This is critical evidence upon which to support policy decisions.
