As there hasn't been a 'confirmed case' on the Isle of Lewis for 3 weeks now & only 6 confirmed cases in total , could some lockdown restrictions be lifted on the island. Keep restrictions on ferry / plane travel in place.

Why the contribution is important

I believe as soon as travel restrictions on/ off are somewhat lifted, we will have a lot more cases so will have to lock down again possibly so allow the locals to enjoy the time they have in a safe and social distancing manner.

    I also live on an island (although not Lewis) but I disagree. Like the rest of the country we have to accept that it will be a long time before life can return to the old normal. We are very fortunate in lots of ways but must continue to observe the lockdown now and then continue to comply with the regulations as restrictions do start to ease.
