Isolate all Covid patients on just one or two dedicated Sites

Designate the Louisa Jordan and one or two other separate hospital buildings for ALL covide patients and let other hospital work continue before it’s too late ever to catch up with all the NHS work which is being completely ignored.

Why the contribution is important

There is a huge amount of NHS and potential work just not being done. Stop this situation now. It’s already too late to catch up properly. Making permanent separate provision for Corvid patients cor the future would stop this nonsense.

Evidence from other countries already supports isolating Covid patients together. The statistics are likely to show that most cases are currently being transmitted in hospitals and care homes - isolate cases in specific sites to reduce this transmission route. Care homes are already locked down except for staff who will be carrying he virus in and out of the homes - so also lock these down completely - seek volunteers from staff to lockdown on site - pay a significant financial premium to the staff for this.... who are currently taking all the risk for them and their families anyway for no extra reward !! Spend the money we are pouring into furloughing massive numbers of healthy workers and running the economy on this instead. Focus on where the virus still is - be radical and stop locking down the future economy rather than being bold and targeted.

Based on other counties, we should seriously consider it.

As a country, we need to learn from other countries - both success and failures

i would agree that the dedication of specific hospitals to Covid patients would help to alleviate the backlog that has already been created in other health areas and hopefully alleviate the anxiety that there is in the public in general about attending hospital for anything other than Covid.
