Issuing of Skip Permits

Is it possible for the council office to be opened to allow skip permits to be issued.

With the shut down I have been able to get a lot of works done which require debris to be skipped due to the volume. I have spoken to skip companies but at present they are unable to get permits issued by Edinburgh City Council and as such that I cannot get a skip delivered.

This would help generate income to the economy, reduce the likelihood of fly tipping, thus reducing on going costs for the council in the long term.

It can also be cathartic for people to feel their lockdown time has been well spent doing jobs that they have always wanted to do but just never had the time.
