Let couples who are separated and both living within the UK reunite by allowing one journey to be made by car or public transport so they can live together as the lockdown continues.
Why the contribution is important
It’s difficult for couples not knowing when they can see each other again, putting strain on relationships in a different way that it would a friendship or family relationship. If couples are allowed to travel only to live in the same household as their partner, they can continue to isolate themselves within that household and go through a period of quarantine after the journey.
