Limited Co Contractors
As a Limited Company Contractor I was working at a company in Central Scotland when we were hit with the virus. All the staff members were sent home on 80% pay if they wern't able to work from home. Those who could work for home were allowed to. As a contractor I was told to go home they would call me again if they needed me. That was on 23rd March. The company is still working at the moment all beit on a limited scale as their main customer Scottish Water has limited the number of projects. I have lost over £5000 in income, I feel we should also have been treated the same as full time employees. We have had no help from any quarter and I am frightened I will lose my house if I can't pay my mortgage.
