Whilst the current lockdown continues, for general public health:
Coups should reopen IMMEDIATELY with appropriate social distancing for entry and on-site.
Travel to Coups should be classed as an allowable journey for the disposal of waste only.
Commercial waste should continue to be barred.
Reopening coups would obviate the need for bonfires. Not everyone has the space for composting!

Why the contribution is important
Fly tipping is encouraged without this.
Householders were told to use the bin system, but were denied the opportunity to get an additional bin.
This is also discriminatory to Islanders, who have lesser recycling opportunities provided by local authorities.
