Localised breakdown of Covod 19 cases

Why are figures for Covod 19 confirmed cases/deaths reported by health authority area rather than political constituency area. In a large area like Highland people have no Idea where the hotspots are.

Why the contribution is important

People would be more aware of taking care knowing that x amount of people had died in their home area

It is a valid point, but infection rates might be more useful. But as testing is a bit haphazard
it would not be accurate. Also in some areas the deaths are in care homes, so would not
    reflect the general public.

In some small rural communities, this might lead to the identities of those affected being identifiable.

It would be very useful, particularly for high density of population areas, like those with shops and tenement housing!

Glasgow seem to have high infection rates still.

In which areas they occur mostly?! How safe am I if I go to my local shop or park?! I would like to know this!

This would be useful to know how many cases where in your area and you could take extra care

It only takes one person to infect another so you should take maximum care everywhere at all times!

..but, it makes a difference if there were tens or just one infected person in your shop!
