Universities and colleges must be required to migrate from face-to-face learning to online teaching with all library resources accessible online. Only study-areas that are practice based should require campus attendance to minimise physical contact and suppress numbers on public transport during peak hours.
This transtion was already a long-term reality for further and higher education, but the current circumstances measn it must be brought forward rather than being considered an ambition.

Why the contribution is important
There is very little reason for most students to be physically present for a lot of their learning. This will reduce physical contact on campuses and help keep numbers on public transport down to help reduce viral transmission.
