Mandatory education provision

School s ( especially secondary) need to return ASAP, starting with S4/5/6.
However schools are varying considerably with what they are providing for different year groups during lockdown. Absolutely nothing in the case of my son's year group from our secondary school.
Schools must be mandated to provide a minimum provision to each year group for the remainder of restrictions, appropriate to the stage of pupils and by a combination of controlled attendance/ online/ posted/ collect and delivery work.

Why the contribution is important

Pupils attainment must be protected to ensure their future prospects and they should not be subjected to the "lottery" of which schools provide more and which provide less or nothing

    Completely agree.
My daughters school emails over her weekly homework, which is just her normal homework from before lockdown.

Falling behind and no plan to catch up, we need a plan now and we need the government to take action now.
