Masks
Enforce Masks on Public Transport , Supermarkets and where people cannot social distance safely .
People need out more to exercise with there kids as long as you can social distance properly .
All non essential works that are still carrying on on a daily basis when being told to stop should be Fined !
Non essential shops should be shit at the start of lockdown .

Why the contribution is important
My ideas are important because these are the reason the virus can still be spreading . It needs to stop

There is overwhelming evidence to suggest not wearing masks .

Treegarland, I have not heard of or seen any evidence of “overwhelming evidence” that suggests we don’t wear masks. Nurses are advised to wear them; doctors are advised to wear them; carers are advised to wear them; indeed Government supplies them to these groups. We are constantly advised to sneeze or cough into a tissue to prevent droplets spreading - indeed a tissue is merely a very short term mask for that moment. Unfortunately, many people don’t reach for tissues in time. The only reason government has previously played down using masks is due to shortage of supply of them, naturally wanting to keep then for key workers. However, I’m certain that if we had endless supplies of them we would be forced to wear them. There is a good reason why government is now advising that we should wear masks, albeit homemade ones - to stop spreading the infection.

Why the contribution is important
I think that the wearing of face coverings/masks in appropriate situations is important because:
1. It is beneficial in preventing the spread of the virus.
2. It will publicly and visibly reinforce community commitment to a disciplined approach to emerging from the crisis.
3. It will be acknowledged by the our neighbours in Europe and the wider World as a reassurance that we are taking the threats of a "second wave" seriously and responsibly.

There’s definitely been an increase in folk wearing masks or covering their face with a scarf. All of that is useless when you keep touching it. Wearing a mask on your chin just makes you look like an idiot and having you nose hanging out of it is of no benefit! Rearranging and touching it constantly defeats the purpose of wearing it in the first place!! Removing it and scrunching it up in your hand just transfers what’s on the glove to your hand!
And for the folk who are discarding their disposable masks and gloves in the supermarket car park......there are no words!

They had already experienced pandemic SARS, MERS and HK flu.
Now they look at our unprotected faces with pity and alarm.

People are out and about more, despite the lockdown not being lifted, and it’s getting harder to socially distance so what will it be like when lockdown is eased/lifted?
