Mental health support for children return g to school

When children return to school (all ages) mental health support should be put in place for them in a meaningful way. Support with processing and transitioning to a new normal. Mental health professionals should be employed in every school and not the usual of a couple of educational psychologists to cover a full council. Mental health support every day for all pupils.

Why the contribution is important

I believe the impact of this pandemic on developing brains could impact the future for children in many negative ways. Things like anxiety, fear, damaged social skills and all other kinds of experiences of having been isolated, some with poor family experiences, will require input from mental health professionals, not only teachers.
