modest expansion of social circle & some travel to visit relatives

Enable meeting between small numbers of people ( easily traceable) - could start with outside mixing only to minimize risk
Enable visit to elderly relatives that have special needs and do not live in same area but are within Scotland

Why the contribution is important

For parents with dementia or alzheimers there is potentially little time left and technology does not replace a face to face visit - if this was feasible it would ease stress with minimal additional risk

    Agree - makes sense

Completely agree - the social bubble idea is a good one, and will do wonders for mental health. People are already doing this informally - would be good to have it as official policy so that it can be tracked.

I agree that this is a good idea. My husband has dementia and our children cannot see him. However they live in England. So travel should be within the uk.

I don’t think it being tracked officially is a good idea that is treating us like prisoners mklayne and taking away our basic human rights

completely agree and is so important for mental well being

Even a small amount of social contact locally and outdoors would have a huge positive impact on our family's mental health ... especially that of our almost four year old son who is an only child.

Has to be the first thing we can do if possible, again with guidance on numbers in group, perhaps a maximum of 6-8 at any one time. This is probably the most important we can do when easing lockdown. Human nature means we have to socialise and I’m sure we can give up on other things to see loved ones again

Agree that there should be modest expansion of the social bubble within a small radius initially, enlarging the radius as more & better measures of control/tracing come into place.

This would be a good starting point when safe to implement

Make the travel within UK. 100 car journeys are a superb form of moving self-isolation and much safer than a single ride on a bus or touching a chip and pin pad in a shop.

In my case I want the ability to visit relatives, most of whom are not in at risk groups, but we are currently banned from travelling to see them.

As the virus subsides more contact, over further distances and longer duration should be allowed.

Hope this is the first thing considered. Would make the other restrictions much more bearable
