I really feel it wouldn’t make much of a difference being able to visit other people’s households while keeping social distance. Surely if people can go to a shop with hundreds of other strangers (many I’m sure who will be key workers who have direct contact with covid patients in some form) then they can surely go to see their parents/siblings who have also been isolating and not mingling in covid rife environments? It seems totally hypocritical to say “yes go mingling with loads of strangers and go touch things that they have touched in shops, but no don’t go sit in your daughters garden who is only leaving the house for hers hours daily exercise”....I Hope I’ve explained myself ok here. I do not think restaurants/crowded places should open for a long time unfortunately.

Why the contribution is important

Creates a new normality that is easier to cope with and keeps family ties strong and can help keep people’s spirits up and battle loneliness.
