Multi household bubbles

Allow households to link up with others (extended family) perhaps up to 8 people? Would like to have my parents help with my new baby who is due in ten days. I will self isolate after being in hospital but would love them to come over and help me look after baby and four year old son at the end of May.

Why the contribution is important

As long as families stick to the bubble and have been self isolating, this will improve mental health in many households. I would appreciate it so much with my son and new baby, thanks

Totally agree, if you can meet with a small bubble for help, childcare, mental well-being it will make it easier to stay in lockdown longer. Communicating on the phone is great or video conferencing but human contact is important. We live in a very rural area and it is hard not to talk/see anybody outwith your household for weeks!

Totally agree. We had a baby just as lockdown began and noone in my family has met him and his gran does not have internet access for contact. I totally appreciate the life and death necessity of lockdown but mental health is going to be an increasing problem.

Would definitely help people who live on their own
