National ID with a Q code- self scan entry to all shops offices public transport- track and trace

Everyone could register their contact details ie phone number, be issue with a Q code on a plastic credit card or fob. This could be scanned on entry and exit to shops public transport offices etc. It would record the time and date of entry and exit. This would allow a greater degree of contact and trace. So if someone was to test positive and had been to their local supermarket everyone who was in there at the same time could be alerted by text.

Why the contribution is important

Greater control of the virus spread. The current contact and trace is very limited
