New Message: Stop the Virus, Keep Your Distance, Save Lives

As we move gradually out of the current restrictions we need a new message. The stay home message needs replaced with a message emphasising the need to continue with social distancing for the foreseeable future to stop the spread of the virus. We should be focusing, like Australia and New Zealand and others, on actually eliminating the virus not just suppressing it. It may not be achievable but that does not mean we should not try!

Why the contribution is important

Everyone needs to be empowered and engaged to do their bit to stop the virus. We can and should all do our bit to prevent it spreading and focus on eliminating it all together - a National endeavor that we can all feel part of must be a powerful tool in defeating the common enemy that is the virus? Let's be much more ambitious and have much more faith in the people of Scotland being capable of joining together to commit to achieving the most important common goal in most of our lifetimes.

    Good idea here.

If anyone thinks we will elimate this virus then they are deluding themselves. We still have Flu, the common cold, Sars and Mers with no immunisation available for these. How do they think they will magic something up for Covid19. Some of the nonnsense coming from our leaders at the moment is mind boggling to say the least.

Keep your distance, stay safe, stay well.

This is a fantastic idea. Covid-19 is here to stay for a long while and realistically the lockdown is going to have to be eased soon and COVID19 is still going to be here so we need a new message in order to allow people to return to some sort of normality but while still being aware that we cannot fully live our normal lives. We still need to prevent the virus from getting out of control. I think your message is a good one.
