New slogan: Protect Scotland

During lockdown the message has been conveyed by a simple 3-part slogan:
"Stay home. Save lives. Protect the NHS".
This proved very successful, three succinct phrases which most people can understand, which did prevent a massive peak in hospital admissions, preventing the NHS from being overwhelmed.

But now the Westminster government's new slogan is "Stay alert. Control the virus. Save lives" which is a less clear message and which the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland authorities do not appear to agree with.

We still need to protect the remote communities in the Highlands and Islands who have little chance of acquiring herd immunity due to the low incidence of infection. A vaccine is still a long way off. So make it clear that Scotland is not yet ready to reopen for tourism.

Now is the time for Nicola Sturgeon to adopt a new slogan to make it clear that in Scotland our attitude is going to be based on the needs of our country.
New slogan:
"Stay home. Save lives. Protect Scotland".

Why the contribution is important

"Stay home. Save lives. Protect Scotland".
A new slogan for Scotland in the next phase of lockdown.

No, I feel this would make the message political and would minimise the message. The stay home message works.

"Stay home. Save lives. Protect the NHS ?"

"You're using all the correct phrases...........but not necessarily in the correct order!"

Let's not get too hung up on phrases and slogans and let us all focus on the guidelines.

Don't need slogans, need media to stop reporting their interpretation of things which is what leads to confusion. To many journalists want to be commentators - very few now actually report news.

Also need FM to start being honest about data - there is no transparency.
