NHS & Social Care workers bonus.
Not sure this is the time or the place but here goes:
Given the fantastic and continuing effort from everyone caring for the ill, keeping the N.H.S and social care going, I believe they should either be given a tax free bonus, lump sum or a tax break as a way of saying thank you.
A lump sum could be payed inline as the restrictions are eased, payed into their pension or donated to a charity of their choice with an option to gift a percentage of it if they wish rather than all of it. There should also be an option for them to refuse it.
Ultimately they should be payed a decent wage with good benefits.

Why the contribution is important
My idea is important as we need to recognise the selfless people who have and will continue to keep us safe throughout this pandemic.
