Open a conversation about motoring testing and learning.

With Georgia granting learner drivers their full licenses untested, and this to be followed by other states doing the same, a growing frustration must be brewing within learner drivers in our own country.
As someone who was test ready, and has now been informed that their test has been delayed for at least an additional month on top of the 2 they were already waiting, and being the time students will have graduated and entered the work force, I understand how it feels to have plans for having a license before a work contract starts not come to fruition purely due to the lock down.
Perhaps we should look into allowing motorcyclists to pursue their CBT or other licenses as long as they are required to wear helmets the entire duration of their visit to the test centre, allow for those starting non-essential work which does require a drivers license access to their tests, or simply grant those who have been waiting for their tests a license so they can enter the workforce as soon as possible. This can be achieved in a balanced way by giving those members a grace period where if they receive any punishment for driving poorly the license is automatically revoked and they are then required to continue learning.
Any form of communication about the issues surrounding halted learning and testing would be a step forward, as I am sure there are a vast amount of individuals who have simply been left and cancelled on with no compensation for their time nor for the learning they will need to undertake to prove themselves test ready again.

Why the contribution is important

There will be a portion of the population at this point who have recently graduated university/college/highschool who intended to have a drivers license before a work contract started, and due to this are coming close to this not being actualised.
The economy would greatly benefit from those who were test ready, and therefore booked in for tests, being allowed to continue with these tests with certain restrictions, or simply allowed their licenses to engage with companies as soon as quarantine is lifted.
