We all know that the risk of catching infection outside is incredibly low. There should be no limits on meeting friends or family outside as long as physical contact is avoided. Running or exercising together should be permitted, as should socialising in gardens or parks. Outdoor sports should be encouraged where possible, and outdoor dining and drinking should be permitted in restaurants, bars and coffee shops.
Why the contribution is important
It is a ridiculous idea to assume that life can't return to normal until there is zero risk to anybody. There will always be risks to somebody - being alive is a risk. There are many other potential viruses or diseases that we could all catch at any time. We could also be hit by a bus to stabbed to death by a mugger. As long as we take steps to minimise the risks, life should go on as normal. Being outside together poses a significantly smaller risk than being indoors, so it should be allowed as much as possible, within the context of staying a metre or two apart.
