Support and publish open source / creative commons designs for PPE that are preapproved for use.
Enable companies to quickly bring products to market if they follow these openly available designs. This has been successful with the WHO hand sanitiser formula.
Many groups are making their work openly available - this should be encouraged at a national level.

Why the contribution is important
Open designs reduce time to market and approvals for items. They also can enable community efforts such as 3D printing to be done safely and successfully.
Keeping designs, tools and a list of potential manufacturers is better than stockpiling warehouses of items that can quickly go out of date.
