Open Recycling Centres
Open the Council run Household Waste and Recycling Centres. These are not places where people congregate and it would be very easy to impose a one-out/one-in queueing system. Most people would spend a couple of minutes to drop off their waste or recycling, especially if there is only one car at a time allowed in.
Why the contribution is important
Residents in lockdown have spent the last few weeks sorting out there gardens, sheds, garages and houses. Many are keeping the items to throw out at home, but some are disposing of their unwanted items in fields, hedgerows and other open spaces. This is one safe step back to normality that can make a big difference to us all and protect the environment.

So grateful that the garden, recyclable, and non-, waste bins, are being collected....[in Perth and Kinross at least] However, there is a lot of dog poo mounting up, because the dog waste bins are not being emptied....[in Dundee anyway] and food waste similarly, if those services were able to be restarted fairly soon, that would also help enormously.
