Open refuse centres

Council run refuse centers are generally staffed in a way that allows social distancing to be easily maintained even before coronavirus, however they have been closed for weeks understandably.

As a result of the lockdown many people have used their spare time to sort through belongings, do DIY, gardening and buy things online which is often delivered in bulky packaging and as a result of all this there is an excess of waste with no realistic outlet for its disposal.

Especially while people are still going to be spending a great deal of time at home it's important that they have as much of that space livable as possible and not taken up by things just waiting to be taken to the skip
