Open rural public toilets

Once people start moving around the country again public toilets need to be opened for obvious reasons. However they need to be manned to maintain cleanliness and social distancing. The Councils should be funded to allow them to offer this facility.

Why the contribution is important

I live in a rural area and already we are seeing an increase in traffic on the roads. Everyone needs to use the toilet and as all the cafes, bars , hotels and restaurants will still be closed public facilities need to be made available safely.

Agree this could become an issue, why not let councils redeploy staff that are stood down/working reduced hours into manning rural facilities. Particularly if the staff live near such facilities, minimising any unnecessary travel.

There are +ve and -ve :
-ve : folk will be encouraged to travel further
+ve : folk can see family if they are some distance away as we progress.

elderly can travel in their social bubble thus avoiding isolation and loneliness.
Hours could be restricted and publicised
    procedures followed.

In the future better to have public toilets that can be monitored, cleaned and maintained than many people entering restuarants /or bars that may open to use their facilties.
