Open the skips/recycling centres

Open these up certain days, or longer hours for set days, these are vital as despite proper recycling at home our homes are overflowing with rubbish. Local small sites are also full.

Why the contribution is important

To prevent overflow rubbish, rats and disease.

Things that should be recycled and are better for our earth to be recycled are getting binned. Bins on the streets are filling up and food waste is attracting animals. Opening recycling centres should be the same socially distancing as supermarkets. But then again maybe this will make us realise we use too much in the first place and be more environmentally aware

    Put social distancing in place

I would welcome this outcome. Knowing social distancing can happen for the staff and interacting with the public. The rest facilities for staff would require inspections, however having the same staff manage each recycle centre for limited days of each week could then be developed. Testing for staff being invited.

If this could be done safely, particularly for staff, I think it is a great idea.

Yes please. Much damage is being done to the environment by the fly tipping caused by closing the recycling centres
