Open up Economy - Masks Mandatory

I would like to see us do something similar to other European countries where we reopen the economy with masks mandatory when shopping/on public transport.

Businesses that re-open need to have social distancing measures (Cinemas, Gyms, Theatres, Restaurants) and ones that cannot should stay shut (e.g. confined spaces such as Pubs, Bars, Nightclubs)

Make testing more available, masks are easily purchased or available from your local pharmacies/supermarkets.

Why the contribution is important

We need to reopen the economy so the pandemic does not cause irreversible damage. We need to accept that this virus will not go away any time soon and must learn to live with the risk rather than hide from it.

    Definitely depending on the job and going in and out of shops until we know more

    Mandatory face masks in indoor/confined spaces should be explored as an alternative to 2m distancing at all times as the latter was a sensible initial measure to reduce risk of covid transmission however retaining it at all costs will likely stymie any real return to a semblance of normality and prove far too restrictive for getting the economy moving again.

    Can we have an officially agreed design and specification for a masks for the public please. Ideally it would be easy to make at home too (for at least those who can sew). It needs to be washable, otherwise there's a huge waste mountain. and there need to be instructions. Also the materials need to be available. I've failed to find any suitable elastic, and toilet roll just doesn't work!!

    People will need quite a few if they are travelling to and from work, allowing for yesterday's in the wash.
