Opening Pubs
Like many other retired men I have a desire to get back to the pub ‘for a pint’.
With lots of the pubs now being quite large it would be possible to do the following -
a) Have a separate ‘In’ and ‘Out’ door thus avoiding breaking the 2mtr rule.
b) Have glass/plastic partitions at bar keeping your neighbouring drinker safe.
c) Have outdoor Portaloo’s with queues 2 metres apart.
d) Use function halls as safe lounges keeping tables well apart.

Why the contribution is important
For pensioners like me (aged 70) this lockdown is having a detrimental effect on our health and opening pubs safely would give us a much better quality of life.
