Outside Areas - Pubs and Restaurants

Allowing pubs and restaurants with outside seating areas to open for business with social distancing considerations in mind, and control numbers into these areas. Look into pedestrianisation of certain streets to allow pubs/restaurants without external areas to look into setting up some - consideration to be made of required vehicle travel and toilet facilities.

Why the contribution is important

Allow the hospitality industry to get going again, even in small part, people getting back to work. Allow people to social outside of the house.

A good idea, very concerned that hospitality industry is suffering so badly.
This would help boost economy and mental heath because it would give people employment and enjoyment.

This is a good idea, but should come later in the process. Sitting outside a bar with a beer, no matter how lovely an experience, isn't essential. the bars are closed because they aren't essential. If we want to protect the industry, we should freeze payments of their bills and debts. They should be allowed to financially mothball until they can open again.

This is a respiratory pandemic and outside space would need to be designated as non smoking.
