P7 Transition

I would be very interested to hear the Contingency plans the education authority have for transition of P7 pupils to S1, particularly with a focus on children who were to receive an enhanced transition for whatever reason. This is a crucial stage of development for children and not knowing what plans are being considered is causing extreme anxiety for some. Being unable to reassure children, as a parent, is very difficult as we have no idea what these plans may be. Please consider informing parents and children what is being considered for enhanced transition and when this may be.

To reduce anxiety/stress for parents and children who were due to receive enhanced transition, and for whom moving into S1 unprepared may be very detrimental to their mental health.
