Pavement and Path Etiquette

Could we have a formal etiquette for pedestrians on pavements and narrow paths? If we all kept to the left hand side then it would be easier to pass from behind and when coming towards a group of people there would be less need to walk out onto the road. Dogs should be kept on leads and close to their owner. Ban bikes on the pavement for safety reasons.

Why the contribution is important

It makes it easier to keep the social distancing measures of two meters. We have to adhere to rules when driving so when the pavements and footpaths are busy, we need a bit more discipline.

hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boy do I have some news for you about the country you are presumably living within and posting on it's site.
If you cannot get Police Scotland to stop from cycling on pavements then I don't think you're going to have a lot of success getting the public to rally behind it.
